Bloglines Mobile

I mentioned previously that I have tried Google Reader and NewsGator for web based news aggregators.  Since when I am on my computer, I use a desktop aggregator, my main use for the web base aggregators is for use on my cell phone.

Last week, I saw this post that mention that Bloglines Moble is using technology from Skweezer.  This is is suppose to optimize html for small screens.  So I decided to try out Bloglines again.

It was very easy for me to import my opml file into Bloglines.

There were some things that I ran into:

  1. For some reason, I keep failing to claim my blog, even though all of the claim keys are in the right place.

  2. When modifying multiple feeds, it was not clear that clicking on the link, doesn't change the page, but runs some javascript.

I don't see anything really compelling with Bloglines Mobile.  The mobile interface to Google Reader is a lot better, and NewsGator allows you to create a private url to make logging on easier.
