Today, I was setting up sharing between a Windows XP computer and a Windows ME computer. This page had the instructions that worked the best for me.
I did have one problem when setting this up. There were a couple of firewalls installed on these computers. It looks like the Norton firewall was blocking the Windows discovery messages. Disabling the firewall allowed things to work.
