Motorola V710

V710Engadget has a post on the next phone that I want get. The Motorola V710 has a 1 megapixel camera phone, as well as BlueTooth. It looks like Verizon will be locking down the phone to only work with their software. If this will work with Apple's iSync, I will get one of these.

So far, my V710 does not work with iSync. I think I may be able to get it to work however.

Works for me with the cable and the now released iSync 1.5 - does not however work across bluetooth - only current bt support seems to be internet connections.

Basically change the MetaClasses.plist file (in /Applications: iSync.app: Contents: PlugIns: ApplePhoneConduit.syncdevice: Contents: PlugIns: PhoneModelsSync.phoneplugin: Contents: Resources: MetaClasses.plist) for the Moto V710 entry to:

com.motorola.usb-bt.0x22B8/0x4902
